As we know the Canon's EOS 5D Mark II cameras can not works with Old BP-511 Or BP-514 series battery pack. It comes with the new Canon LP-E6 Battery. Regarding the CTA battery, it comes with charger kit together. The included AC-DC charger is necessary to charge the battery. CTA LP-E6 can not be charged in the Canon charger included with the camera. The included charger is compatible with standard AC power outlets as well as DC car "cigarette lighter" outlets. The battery does not support the usage tracking technology supported by the 5D Mark II.
