Which Canon DSLR is better to get and why? The 1Ds Mark III, 1D Mark IV or or the 5D Mark II.?
Please speak from use, not just from looking at the price.
Speaking from experience, there's no reason to pick the 5D Mark II when placed against the 1Ds Mark III and 1D Mark IV. Size is 5D's only advantage over the other two, but if your travelling can accommodate cameras in the size of the other two, then 5D has nothing to show.
Of the top of my head I would suggest 1Ds Mark III for its speed and in-camera image processing, but 1D Mark IV has a slightly better sensor (I think, not entirely sure, it's just my opinion). So if you're a RAW person, 1D Mark IV has a slight advantage.
