How to make a Canon ZR85 camera into a webcam?
I have a Canon ZR85 DVCamcorder, and I want to act as an webcam also. What FREE software I need to do this so I can begin my music live show online. I'm really cheap. lol
To be honest the few cameras and camcorders that are capable of working as web-cams use this as a selling point and provide the basic software in the package. If your Canon does not do this then I suspect that it's simply not capable.
Any how, have you considered the music rights issues surrounding any sort of performances. You would be far better to record the shows and then sort out the rights (the fines are substantial and you could even face prison if you don't).
